HENRY AND SUSAN NEED MORE ROOM

About 5 years ago I helped a couple buy their first home. It was very nice with 2 bedrooms, one bath and a one car garage. Life brings change. They were expecting their second child and it was a girl! They had one son, Joseph, and he wasn’t too crazy about sharing his room with a new baby.
They decided the time was right to either add on or move up to a larger home.

I met with them and gave them the name of a wonderful contractor who had done some remodeling for us in our home. I also gave them two very comprehensive market analysis’ on their home; if they sold their home and moved and the other was the value on their home if they did the addition.

Armed with information and after my consulting services, they analyzed their two options.
They decided if they added on, it would make their home the largest one in the neighborhood so in the long run that wouldn’t be a good investment. If they ever needed to sell, they would be over priced in their neighborhood and they could lose a lot of money.

The current market conditions made it so they could sell their first home for top dollar and buy their next home at a great price. They just moved into their new home, with 4 bedrooms and 2 baths and a three car garage. And Joseph and baby Susie have their own rooms!
