Presbyterian Hospital coming to Rio Rancho Presbyterian Healthcare Services announced it has bought 50 acres on the east side of Unser just south of Westside that will be used to build a hospital and medical offices. This is in the Cabezon Subdivision. The hospital project is expected to cost about $150 million. The company hopes to have the hospital open by 2010. A separate medical office building also will be on the site and is expected to open by 2009. According to the Economic Development commission, the new Rio Rancho Presbyterian Hospital will open sometime in 2010.
